Architecture
The Central Department of Registration of Civil Status Acts (RCSA) of Khmelnytskyi is located in the former mansion of one of the Proskuriv doctors, built in 1903.
From July 19, 1914, the headquarters of the 8th Army of the South-Western Front under the command of General Oleksiy Brusylov was based in this building. In the 1960s and 1970s, a city children's hospital operated here. Since 2001, it has been a palace of ceremonial events.

The Craftsmen Synagogue in Khmelnytskyi is the only surviving Jewish temple in the city.
A small synagogue was built in 1890 in the Jewish quarter of artisan bakers, opposite the current central food market.
In Soviet times, the building housed a gymnastics school. In the early 1990s, the Craftsmen Synagogue was returned to the Jewish community of Khmelnytskyi, and it is now in use.

The current building of the "Planeta" cinema, known to residents of Khmelnytskyi as "kalancha", was built as a fire station in 1954, during the period of intensive development of the city, which acquired the status of a regional center.
It was designed by the architect Hnat Chekirda, who built many iconic architectural structures of modern Khmelnytskyi (a memorial plaque has been installed).
Located at the busiest intersection in the center of the city, the building with a high tower, reminiscent of the town hall, is considered an informal symbol of Khmelnytskyi.
Since 1987, this is a children's cinema with 3 halls.

Temple
The Holy Intercession Cathedral in Khmelnytskyi was built in 1992 on the site of a small cemetery church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which existed here since the first half of the 19th century. He was consecrated by the UOC of the Moscow Patriarchate.
On April 2, 2023, an incident took place in the Holy Intercession Cathedral with a priest of the Moscow Patriarchate beating a Ukrainian military officer, which caused a wave of indignation in the community, and on the same day a meeting of parishioners took place, which unanimously voted for the transfer of the religious community of the Intercession Cathedral to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

The Museum of the History of the City of Khmelnytskyi is located in a modern building in the pedestrian zone.
This is a small chamber museum, the exposition of which tells about the main events in the history of the city.
More than 2,000 items are presented.

The Khmelnytskyi Regional Art Museum is located in the former bank building (1903).
The museum's collection includes 8,000 works of art by forty contemporary artists. All works have a bright national color - from the plot motifs and traditional element in the artistic form to the color structure. In particular, there is a permanent exhibition of the works of the artist Georgy Vereyskyi.
The museum has a collection of works by the outstanding Ukrainian folk artist Mariya Prymachenko.
The art salon and fashion gallery "Art Podium" works at the museum.

The Khmelnytskyi Regional Literary Museum opened in 1992 as the Museum of the Writer Oleksandr Kuprin and the Writers of the Khmelnytskyi Region.
It is located in a small one-storey house in the center of Khmelnytskyi, opposite Shevchenko Park.
The exposition of the first hall tells about oral folk art, folklore, ancient writing, the beginning of new Ukrainian literature.
In the second hall you can get acquainted with the classics of Ukrainian literature, whose names are associated with modern Khmelnytskyi: Taras Shevchenko, Lesya Ukrayinka, Mykhaylo Kotsyubynsky, Leonid Hlibov, Mykhaylo Starytsky and others. The literature of national minorities of the region is also presented here.
The third exhibition hall tells about the writers of the XX century and modern Ukrainian literature.
Meetings with writers, presentations of new publications, thematic literary and musical evenings take place in the literary and musical room "Shine of Viburnum" with an exposition about the poet-biker Mykyta Hodovanets.

Khmelnytskyi Regional Museum of Local Lore is located in a modern building in the city center.
The funds include 60,000 items, including treasures of medieval coins and ornaments from the times of Kyivan Rus, including 4 treasures of jewelry from the Bolokhiv land.
A large collection of porcelain of the XIX-XX centuries, antique furniture and utensils is presented.

Monument
The monument to Bohdan Khmelnytskyi in the city of Khmelnytskyi is one of the most extravagant monuments to the Ukrainian hetman in the country, the fourth and largest in Khmelnytskyi.
A bronze equestrian monument by sculptor Valentyn Borysenko and architect Mykola Kopyl was erected in 1993 in front of the philharmonic hall, next to the Khmelnytskyi regional administration building.
Despite the fact that the sculpture turned out to be very expressive and pompous, the monument caused many complaints from the people of Khmelnytskyi due to the unnatural posture of the horse and the general disproportion of the figures.

The Museum of Proskuriv underground was opened in 1994 in a century-old building in Khmelnytskyi, where a secret apartment was located during World War II.
The museum exposition tells about the beginning of the German-Soviet war, the occupation of the city, concentration camps in Proskurov, the activities of the Proskuriv district underground guerrilla organization in 1941-1944, members of the underground, guerrilla movement, liberation of the city from the Germans and the return of Soviet occupiers.
The museum's funds contain personal belongings of the undergrounders, photographs, memoirs, letters from the front, correspondence of the undergrounders, characteristics of the leading core of the Proskuriv underground and their awards.
The Museum of Proskuriv underground is a branch of the Khmelnytskyi City History Museum.
Tarasa Shevchenko Street, 3/1 Khmelnytskyi
The Museum-Kryivka "Stinka" (Wall) in Khmelnytskyi opened in 2022 in the premises of the former shooting range of the "Ploskyriv" sports and cultural center on the territory of the "Lokomotiv" stadium.
The museum reproduces the typical situation of the UPA rebel kryivka (hideout) during the liberation struggle of the middle of the 20th century. The exposition contains contemporary household items that could have been used by the underground.
During the tour, visitors have the opportunity to learn about the history of UPA activities in Khmelnytskyi region and about the different types of hideouts used by Ukrainian rebels. Shooting in a shooting range with pneumatic weapons is also offered.

The Khmelnytskyi Museum-Studio of Photographic Art opened in 2010 in the three-story building of the Continental Hotel in the Art Nouveau style, built at the beginning of the 20th century by Proskuriv merchant Naftula Vasserman.
To this day, the original plastic forms of the facade, openwork wrought iron balconies, decorative decoration of the walls with colored enamel glass have been preserved.
The photo art museum opened in it is the first museum of this profile in Ukraine. The exposition includes more than 1,500 exhibits (cameras, lenses, enlargers, exposure meters and other accessories), which illustrate the development of photography and photographic technology from the end of the 19th to the end of the 20th century. The collection was assembled by the director of the museum, Khmelnytskyi photographer Kostyantyn Zhdanov.
In the lobby there is a permanent exhibition "Old-New City" with black-and-white and color photographs of Khmelnytskyi sights. Photo exhibitions of the best photo artists from different cities of Ukraine are held.

The Cathedral of the Nativity of the Virgin is the oldest stone building in Khmelnytskyi.
The temple in the style of classicism was built on the site of the first Orthodox church of Proskuriv, founded in the 18th century, which burned down in 1822. The main shrine was a miraculous icon of the Mother of God with a silver crown.
In 1937, the cathedral was closed, the premises were used as a warehouse. Currently, the church is active and belongs to the UOC of the Moscow Patriarchate.

The ancient one-story mansion on the boulevard next to the monument to Bohdan Khmelnytskyi is one of the oldest civilian buildings in the city of Khmelnytskyi.
Currently, the department of the Khmelnytskyi City Council dealing with citizen appeals is located here.

The Khmelnytskyi City Council is housed in a building built in 1904 as the Oleksandrivska Real School, named after Tsarevich Oleksandr.
It was a school during the Soviet regime. In 1986, the city council moved here. Four hundred-year-old red beeches growing in front of the building were planted in the year the school was founded and are botanical monuments of nature.
