Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary Church

The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Monastyryska was built in the 18th century at the expense of Yuzef Potocki.
The altar was once decorated with sculptures by the famous master Ivan Heorhiy Pinsel. They are currently on display in the Pinsel museum in Lviv.
200-year-old ash trees grow around the temple.

The museum complex "Lemko Village" (Lemkivske selo) is located in the tract "Bychova" near Monastyryska. It consists of several wooden buildings that reflect the life and culture of the Lemko people.
The first exposition house "Lemko living room" (Lemkivska svitlytsia) presents ancient icons of the XIX-XX centuries, embroidered towels, shirts, tablecloths, sacred vestments from the churches of Monastyryska region, old prints, etc.
In the second house "Lemko carpentry" there are machines and tools, as well as living conditions: bed, table, spinning wheel, bambetli.
In the "Potter's House" you can see a pottery kiln, a potter's wheel, potter's tools, as well as an exhibition of pottery.
The "House of Tailors" presents furniture, a sewing machine, as well as an exhibition of dolls in Lemko costumes by master Irena Krynytska.
Nearby is the "Estate of the Lemko Gazda", a chapel, a bell tower, a well.
The museum complex includes the Fire Field, which annually hosts the festival "Bells of Lemko".

The Olena Kysilevska Literary Memorial Museum was founded in 1999 in the writer's hometown of Monastyryska in the Ternopil region.
Prominent Ukrainian writer, journalist, publisher, socio-political and cultural-educational figure Olena Kysilevska was an activist of the women's movement in Galicia. While in exile, she headed the World Federation of Ukrainian Women's Organizations.
The Olena Kysilevska Room-Museum is located in the Monastyryska Central District Library. The museum exposition presents manuscripts of the writer's works, photographs, original documents, lifetime editions of her books "Impressions from the Road" (1910), "Shvaitsaria" (1933), "Ukrainian Peasant at Work: How to Work in Women's Sections WOT" (1942). .
The exposition is complemented by embroidered towels, tablecloths, shirts, spare parts, household items.
