The village of Horodkivka on the Huyva River is located 15 kilometers south of Andrushivka.

It was first mentioned in 1635 as Khalayimiv - the property of the Khalayimy brothers. Some researchers believe that in this place in the 16th century there was a fortified town of Skorhorodok, founded by Prince Kyryk Ruzhynsky on the Black Route of Crimean Tatar raids (according to another version, Skorhorodok is Ruzhyn). Later, Khalayimiv was owned by Zamoyski and Konetspolski.

The unique church of Saint Clare, built in 1912 on the initiative of the Polish memoirist Yevstakhiy Ivanovsky, who lived in Khalayimiv, has been preserved.
