Dymer

The urban-type village Dymer is located 30 kilometers north of Vyshhorod, on the right bank of the Dnipro (Kyiv Reservoir).

It arose during the time of Kyivan Rus, but it was first mentioned in documents in 1582 (a memorial sign was installed).

After the War of Liberation, Dymer returned to Polish rule and in 1667 became the capital of the Polish registered Cossacks led by Hetman Ostap Hohol. In 1703, Semen Paliy captured and destroyed the city.

Several buildings of the 19th and 20th centuries have been preserved since the time of the Russian Empire.

Селище міського типу Димер розташоване в 30 кілометрах на північ від Вишгорода, на правому березі Дніпра (Київського водосховища).

Виникло за часів Київської Русі, однак у документах вперше згадується в 1582 році (встановлено пам'ятний знак).

Після Визвольної війни Димер повернувся під владу Польщі і в 1667 році став столицею польського реєстрового козацтва на чолі з гетьманом Остапом Гоголем. В 1703 році Семен Палій захопив і зруйнував місто.

З часів Російської імперії збереглося кілька будівель XIX-XX століть.
