Berezna

The village of Berezna is located at the confluence of the Bereznyanka River with Ros, 5 kilometers north of Volodarka.

Founded at the end of the 16th century. The name is associated with a large number of birch groves in these places. For three centuries, Berezna was owned by the Pidhirski landowners (only the farm buildings remained from the manor house).

The first wooden church in the Cossack style was built in the 17th century. In its place, in 1890, a new wooden church of the Nativity of the Virgin was built, which is still standing today. The red brick water mill building (XIX century) has also been preserved.

Село Березна розташоване при впадінні річки Березнянка в Рось в 5 кілометрах на північ від Володарки.

Засноване в кінці XVI сторіччя. Назву пов'язують з великою кількістю березових гаїв в цих місцях. Протягом трьох століть Березною володіли поміщики Підгірські (від панської садиби залишилися лише господарські будівлі).

Перший дерев'яний храм в козацькому стилі був побудований в XVII столітті. На його місці в 1890 році звели нову дерев'яну церкву Різдва Богородиці, яка стоїть і понині. Також збереглася будівля водяного млина червоної цегли (XIX століття).
