Velykyi Bobryk

The village of Velykyi Bobryk is roztashovane on the right birch of the Bobryk river, on the outskirts of the forest massif, 20 kilometers to the riverside exit from Sumy.

Velykyi Bobryk was founded in 1676 by migrants from the Right-Bank Ukraine. At the beginning of the 19th century, the village was occupied by the helper Yelyzaveta Rakhmanova, whose son General Hryhoriy Rakhmanov was a participant in the war with Napoleon.
