General information about Dovbush Cave (Pidzakharychi)
The cave on the top of the mountain above Pidzakharychi is named after the legendary folk hero Oleksa Dovbush.
According to legend, in 1740-1741, the leader of the Opryshkis operated with his squad in the Pidzakharychi and Roztoky area. This cave served as one of the rebel hideouts.
The ten-meter-long cave is a crack in sandstone 1-1.5 meters wide.
Печера на вершині гори над Підзахаричами названа на честь легендарного народного героя Олекси Довбуша.
За легендою, у 1740-1741 роках ватажок опришків діяв зі своїм загоном у районі Підзахаричів та Розток. Ця печера служила одним із сховищ повстанців.
Десятиметрова печера є тріщиною в пісковиках шириною 1-1,5 метри.
