General information about Pryima Grotto (Mykolaiv)
The Pryima Grotto is located in the middle of the forest, 2 kilometers southeast of Mykolayiv, not far from the small village of Pryima.
A 46,000-year-old settlement of Neanderthals was discovered in the cave. Also recorded are materials from the Early Iron Age, XVIII-XIX centuries (Upper canopy), XVIII-XIX centuries (Lower Cave) and Mousterian era (Upper floor-grotto).
Грот Прийма розташований посеред лісу за 2 кілометри на південний схід від Миколаєва, неподалік маленького хутора Прийма.
У печері виявлено поселення неандертальців віком 46 тисяч років. Також зафіксовано матеріали доби раннього заліза, XVIII-XIX століть (Верхній навіс), XVIII-XIX століть (Нижня печера) та мустьєрською епохи (Верхній поверх-грот).
