The Austrian Pillbox (DOT) from the First World War is located on a 30-meter cliff on the northern outskirts of Mykolaiv.
An entrance and two separate rooms 20 by 7 meters have been cut into the sandstone rock. Stairs lead to the second floor to the stone-concrete tower of Pillbox.
Pillbox was used as an observation post and fire control center - the northern part of the city of Mykolaiv and the road leading to it are clearly visible from a height.

Temple
The "Pysanka" chapel was built in Mykolaiv in 2002. The unique temple in the form of an Easter egg was designed by the famous Mykolaiv sculptor Kostyantyn Malyarchuk, and the inspiration for its construction was local resident Omelyan Ivaniv.
The Easter egg chapel can be seen from all sides of Mykolaiv, as it was built at the highest point of the city - in the "Vysokiy kaminʹ" tract. There is no direct access to the chapel - you have to go up on foot.

Museum / gallery
The Literary and Art Museum of Ukrainian writers Ulyana Kravchenko and Mykola Ustiyanovych was founded in 1991 in their hometown of Mykolaiv, Lviv region.
The exhibition tells about the life and work of these artists, introduces photos from family archives and some personal belongings. In particular, the first collection of Ulyana Kravchenko's poems "Prima Vera", her other works, authentic items of clothing, paintings, busts of Ivan Franko and Ulyana Kravchenko are presented.
Visitors can also get acquainted with the lives and stories of other famous people of the Mykolaiv region - artists, artists, composers, sculptors, singers.

The Historical and Local History Museum of Mykolayiv was opened in 1989 in one of the old one-story buildings in the city center opposite the Greek Catholic Church of Saint Nicholas.
In the department of archeology you can get acquainted with the archeological materials of the Stilsko settlement and the collection of ancient weapons.
The ethnographic section of the museum is devoted to the history of ancient Mykolayiv crafts - pottery and flax processing. The model of the Mykolayiv cement plant is presented.

The Pryima Grotto is located in the middle of the forest, 2 kilometers southeast of Mykolayiv, not far from the small village of Pryima.
A 46,000-year-old settlement of Neanderthals was discovered in the cave. Also recorded are materials from the Early Iron Age, XVIII-XIX centuries (Upper canopy), XVIII-XIX centuries (Lower Cave) and Mousterian era (Upper floor-grotto).
