General information about Chapel "Pysanka" (Mykolaiv)
The "Pysanka" chapel was built in Mykolaiv in 2002. The unique temple in the form of an Easter egg was designed by the famous Mykolaiv sculptor Kostyantyn Malyarchuk, and the inspiration for its construction was local resident Omelyan Ivaniv.
The Easter egg chapel can be seen from all sides of Mykolaiv, as it was built at the highest point of the city - in the "Vysokiy kaminʹ" tract. There is no direct access to the chapel - you have to go up on foot.
Каплиця "Писанка" зведена у Миколаєві в 2002 році. Унікальний храм у вигляді великоднього яйця-писанки спроєктував відомий миколаївський скульптор Костянтин Малярчук, а натхненником її побудови став місцевий житель Омелян Іванів.
Каплицю-писанку видно з усіх боків Миколаєва, оскільки збудована вона у найвищій точці міста – в урочищі "Високий Камінь". Під'їзду безпосередньо до каплиці немає – підніматися слід пішки.
