General information about General Zoological Reserve "Zubrovytsya" (Banyliv-Pidhirnyi)
The general zoological reserve "Zubrovytsya" was created in 1993 as a place of settlement of a valuable species of wild Bukovyna fauna - the European bison.
Currently, the area of the reserve is 27 thousand hectares. A modern enclosure with an area of more than 80 hectares has been created here, in which more than 30 heads of wild bison are kept in semi-free conditions.
Excursions are held.
Загальнозоологічний заказник "Зубровиця" створено в 1993 році як місце поселення цінного виду дикої буковинської фауни - зубра європейського.
Нині площа заказника становить 27 тисяч гектарів. Тут створено сучасний вольєр площею понад 80 гектарів, в якому у напіввільних умовах міститься понад 30 голів дикого зубра.
Проводяться екскурсії.
