General information about Radar station "Pamir" (Shepit)
The military base with the Soviet air defense radar station "Pamir" is located on Mount Tomnatyk, within the Vyzhnytskyi district of Chernivtsi region, southwest of the village of Shepit and northwest of the Semenchuk pass.
It operated from 1960 to 1989. It is currently abandoned.
One of the domes of the radar station "Pamir" is painted like an Easter egg. Dzhamala's music video for the song "1944" was filmed here.
Військова база з радіолокаційною станцією радянської ППО "Памір" розташована на горі Томнатик, у межах Вижницького району Чернівецької області, на південний захід від села Шепіт та на північному заході перевалу Семенчук.
Працювала з 1960 до 1989 року. На даний момент покинута.
Один із куполів РЛС "Памір" розписаний під великоднє яйце. Тут знімався кліп Джамали на пісню "1944".
