Museum / gallery
The Historical and Local Lore Museum of the village of Mohylne was opened in the premises of the Mohylne comprehensive school in 1986 on the initiative of history teacher Vasyl Derezovsky.
The museum exposition is divided into four thematic sections, which are arranged in chronological order and reflect the most characteristic stages of the historical development of the region.
The exposition "Our Region in Ancient Times" presents objects of the Trypillyan culture found near the village (tools made of flint and bone, fragments of ceramic dishes).
The exposition "The Tragedy of the Ukrainian People" in documents and photographs testifies to the terrible crimes of the Soviet regime and the Holodomor of 1932-1933.
A large exposition is dedicated to the events of World War II, the Chornobyl tragedy and the war in Afghanistan.
The museum is decorated with objects of peasant life, including a cart on wooden wheels, a painted stove, a variety of jugs and dishes, embroidered towels, peasant clothing, etc.
The new exhibition is dedicated to the events of the Revolution of Dignity and honoring the memory of the Heroes of the Russian-Ukrainian War.
