RUSSIAN-UKRAINIAN WAR
With the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, from March 16 to November 10, Snihurivka was under Russian occupation. The building of the House of Culture, which housed the museum, was captured by the occupiers. The museum premises suffered significant damage, the museum was almost destroyed. Computer and office equipment, furniture, exhibition equipment, inventory books, registration cards - everything was almost destroyed. 40 percent of the museum collection was lost.
After the de-occupation of Snihurivka, work began on restoring the museum collection and replenishing the museum collection with exhibits related to the Russian-Ukrainian war.
