Cities and villages of Skadovsk district

Skadovsk district (Skadovskyi) is located in the southwestern part of the Kherson region, in the historical and ethnographic region of the Black Sea coast. It is washed by the waters of the Black Sea from the south, and from the northeast by the Dnipro and the Dnipro-Buzky estuary.

The nature of the water area and small islands of Tendrivska and Yahorlytska bays is protected by the Black Sea Biosphere Reserve.

This is the main resort area of Kherson region.
