Ivankiv

The village of Ivankiv on the Teteriv River is located 80 kilometers northwest of Kyiv.

It has been known since 1589, when the Kyiv burgher Proskura transferred these lands to his son Ivan, who founded the settlement and named it after himself. However, on the south-eastern outskirts, on the territory of the park, traces of the Old Rus settlement of the 10th-13th centuries have been preserved.

There was a castle in Ivankovo, which was dismantled in 1834. There is an Orthodox church, a church, a synagogue and a prayer house.
