The five-headed church of the Volodymyr icon of the Mother of God in the village of Kochetok was built between 1825 and 1854 on the site of an old wooden church, next to a miraculous spring.
The icon, in honor of which the church is named, was popularly called the "Revealed Icon". Later, a bell tower was added to the church.
In 1934, the church was closed, and it gradually fell into disrepair. In 1989, on the day of St. Nicholas, the church was opened again. It belongs to the UOC of the Moscow Patriarchate.
