In the ethnographic exposition, many household items of Slobozhanshchyna, brought from ethnographic expeditions, are collected.

The museum of the Izium city occupation by the Russian invaders was founded in 2022 by the publisher of the newspaper "Obriiy Iziumshchyny" Kostyantyn Hryhorenko with the participation of the Izium Museum of Local Lore. So far, the museum does not have its own premises.
Today, the museum's collection includes more than 200 exhibits. Among them are Russian propaganda posters and proclamations, street signs and announcements, pro-Russian newspapers, enemy flags, uniforms of the occupation forces, chevrons, personal items, dry rations. Presented soldier's canned food, sugar, matches - all with Russian markings.
You can also see the textbooks of educators who sided with the occupiers and were preparing to teach Izium schoolchildren according to the Russian curriculum.

The Oleksiyivska Fortress of the Ukrainian Defense Line was built in 1831, during the second stage of the construction of the line of fortifications on the then southern borders of the Russian Empire.
The original name was Beretska, in 1738 it was renamed to the fortress of Saint Oleksiy. Earthen, almost square in plan, four bastions. The height of the shafts is more than 5 meters. The area of the serf yard is more than 1.5 hectares. A dirt road with a length of about 100 meters is brought up by an embankment to the north-western curtain, in which the entrance is located. The eastern curtain is strengthened by a ravelin directed towards the Bereka River. The length of the fortress on the outer side of the base of the shaft is more than 1030 meters.
The Aleksiivskaya fortress was connected by a rampart with a dry moat to the fourth on the line of Mykhaylivska and the sixth - Yefremivska fortresses. The garrison consisted of one infantry regiment of land militiamen, later transferred to dragoons and reinforced by a half-company of grenadiers.
The monument is well preserved and gives a clear idea of the shape and size of the earthen fortification of the first third of the 18th century.

Recreation complex "Osynove Pleso" is located on the picturesque shore of Siverskyi Donets on the eastern outskirts of Chuhuiv.
Made in an ethnic style: a Ukrainian mud house with a reed roof, a village yard fenced with mud, a wooden carved well in the yard. On the territory, you can visit an authentic Ukrainian house-museum, which recreates the lifestyle of the Ukrainian peasantry of the 18th-19th centuries. A unique collection of household items and decorative and applied art, collected by the founder of the complex, Pavlo Zektser, is on display.
A three-level bathhouse, fishing, and picnic areas are at your disposal. During the Repin plein airs, the complex hosts artists, and their paintings are exhibited here.

The Paper Museum was established at the Zmiiv Paper Mill in 2018 in a building that is over 125 years old.
The museum's exposition tells the history of the development of the paper industry from ancient times to the present, demonstrates production processes and eco-technologies used in the modern world and in particular at the Zmiiv factory. Among the exhibits are printing and publishing machines and equipment, samples of paper and products made from it. Some exhibits are over 200 years old. The main museum exhibits are unique machines that were used to make paper at the beginning of the 20th century.
For museum visitors, real and virtual tours of the museum premises, laboratories where eco-paper is made, and production workshops are held.

The estate of the Pavlov landowners was founded in Malyzhyne at the beginning of the 19th century.
The maison house was built by Kostyantyn Pavlov in 1823 according to the typical project of a city house approved in 1809. An outhouse and a storeroom have also been preserved.
In Soviet times, a home for the elderly was placed in the Pavlov estate. Currently, it is the Malyzhyne Psychoneurological Boarding School. Visiting is complicated.

The Peresichne Village History and Local Lore Museum is one of the first village museums in the Kharkiv region. It is located in the premises of the village's House of Culture.
In addition to the traditional antiquities for the Slobozhanshchyna region and a large ethnographic collection, the museum's exposition includes personal belongings of actor Mykola Rybakov and composer Yakiv Stepovyi, the uniform of Marshal Ivan Konev, and other interesting artifacts.

The Church of Peter and Paul was founded in 1866 in the suburb of Kharkiv - on Zhuravlivka (now it is Taras Shevchenko Street with the surrounding area).
The stone building was laid in 1871, the construction was completed in 1875. The Church of Peter and Paul was built in the Rus-Byzantine style according to the project of architects Fedir Danilov and Vasyl Nebolsyn. The temple is single-domed, with three thrones. A women's church and parish school operated under him. Even during the times of persecution and Hitler's occupation, the church did not stop working.
By the 130th anniversary, the Peter and Paul Church was restored, and the Basil the Great Sunday School was opened, where parishioners are taught the basics of doctrine and the art of church singing.

The communal institution "Prikolotne Museum of the Hero of the Soviet Union Kostyantyn Olshansky of the Vilkhuvatka Village Council" works on the basis of the Prykolotne Lyceum named after Olshansky.
It was created in 1964 in the homeland of senior lieutenant Kostyantyn Olshansky, who in March 1944 commanded a detachment of marines during the liberation of the city of Mykolayiv from German occupation. Olshansky's landing party then captured the seaport of Mykolayiv and for two days kept it before the approach of the main forces, having repulsed 18 attacks of Nazis. All 68 paratroopers received the title of Hero of the Soviet Union, 57 of them - posthumously.
The main exposition of a museum is devoted to these events, in particular the sounding diorama "The destroyed room of office of port of the elevator of the city of Mykolayiv" is sounded.
The museum also tells about the pedigree of the Olshansky family and the history of the village, in particular Prykolotne oil plant located here.
In total, about 2,000 exhibits are presented: personal belongings of the Olshansky family, decorative and utility items of Slobozhanshchyna of the XIX-XX centuries.

The Museum of Theater Puppets has been operating at the Viktor Afanasiev Kharkiv State Academic Puppet Theater since 1954. It is the oldest in Ukraine and one of the best puppet museums in the world in terms of the wealth of exhibition materials collected and preserved in its archives.
The museum occupies the entire third floor of the theater building, which is an architectural monument and was created according to the design of architect Oleksii Beketov in 1907, and in 1968 was reconstructed specifically for the puppet theater.
The Museum's collection includes over 11 thousand different exhibits that tell the story of the development of the world puppet theater and Kharkiv puppeteers in particular, the history of the art of playing dolls and people associated with this art. In three spacious exhibition halls, dolls, posters, models, souvenirs, puppet sketches, theater programs and photographs from many countries of the world are presented for viewing. In particular, the museum stores unique dolls made at the beginning of the 20th century, gifts from famous puppeteers from different countries of the world.

The Pysarivka Open-Air Ethnographic Museum "Ukrainian Sloboda" was founded in 1989.
On a small territory, the best examples of folk architecture and everyday life of the Slobozhanshchyna are collected here, including an old windmill, a barn, a tavern and a peasant hut.
The tavern houses a historical and local history exhibition, which contains a large collection of traditional 19th-century household items, agricultural implements and ceremonial items for the Slobozhanshchyna region.

The Church of Saint Michael the Archangel in Krasnokutsk was built in 1873-1880 on the site of an old wooden church known since the 17th century.
The project of the five-domed church in the pseudo-Rus style was developed by the full-time diocesan architect Fedir Danilov. A parish school and a library operated at the church.
In 1934, the Soviet authorities closed the temple, all 5 chapters and the upper tiers of the bell tower were demolished. Currently, the Saint Michael's Church in Krasnokutsk has been revived and restored.

The Church of Saint Barbara was built in Kapytolivka in 1819-1823 over the grave of the landowner Varvara Kotlyarevska, named in her honor.
The Saint Barbara temple was built according to the project of the local architect Petro Yaroslavskyi in the style of classicism at the expense of Varvara's husband - lieutenant general Petro Kotlyarevskyi, and her mother - the landowner Kapitolina Yenokhina.

The brick church of Saint Joseph the Betrothed was built in the village of Mechebylove in 1817 at the expense of the landowner Fedir Kukol-Yasnopolskyi.
The cross-plan church is made in the style of classicism. Large donations for the decoration of the temple were made by the Bezpalchevy family of landowners, who also ran an orphanage.
During Soviet times, the Church of Saint Joseph the Betrothed was closed. In 1995, it was transferred to the UOC of the Moscow Patriarchate.
