Saint Nicholas Church is the oldest church in the Dnipro. It is located on the territory of the former city of Novi Kodaky, the center of the Kodak palanka of Zaporizhzhia Sich, which over time became part of the current city of Dnipro.
The stone church in the style of classicism was built instead of the wooden Cossack church that existed since 1650. Cross-shaped, with a strongly elongated western branch and a semicircular apse, with small square extensions.
The Saint Nicholas Church has preserved paintings from the early 20th century.

Saint Nicholas Desert Samar Men's Monastery - the main shrine of the Zaporizhzhian Cossacks.
The first church with a hospital and a school was built by the Zaporizhzhians on the island between the Samara River and its bend Samarchyk back in 1576. Since 1602, the shrine has been transformed into a monastery with a shelter for retired elderly Cossacks, but the official date of foundation is 1672.
Fortifications were built during the Turkish war. Saint Nicholas Church in Baroque style was built in 1782-1787.
In the 1930s, the Samar monastery was closed, a home for the elderly was placed in it, then a boarding school for the mentally retarded.
In 1993, it was returned to the Orthodox Church. The main shrine is the Okhtyrska icon of the Mother of God, called "Samara".

The Saint Peter and Paul Church in Petropavlivka was built in 1910 on the site of the first wooden church that gave the village its name.
The stone one-domed three-throne temple was built in the style of classicism. The central throne is in honor of the holy apostles Peter and Paul, the left one is in honor of the great martyr Kateryna, the right one is in honor of PrinceOleksandr Nevskyi.

The Saint Tikhvin Convent in Dnipro was founded in 1866 on land donated to the community by the former priest of the Sunday Church of Katerynoslav Cemetery, Zosymovych, as well as state peasants Yukhym Shaposhnykov and Fedir Habanenko.
In 1868, the church of Saint Barbara, a cell building and a refectory were built. In 1874, the construction of the stone three-throne cathedral in the name of the Tikhvin icon of the Mother of God was completed.
During its history, the monastery was closed twice by the authorities (in 1925, and then after 17 years of vitality - in 1959). In its premises was boarding school No. 1 for children with disabilities. The Saint Tikhvin Cathedral, which was damaged during the Second World War, was blown up in 1959, and a boarding school for people with hearing impairments was built in its place.
Since 1999, the Saint Tikhvin Convent has been operating again. It belongs to the UOC of the Moscow Patriarchate.

Salt lake on the outskirts of the Samara Forest between the villages of Znamenivka and Novotroitske.
The shape of the lake is close to a circle with a diameter of about 1.8 kilometers. The area of the lake is about 3.5 square kilometers, the length of the coastline is about 11.5 kilometers. In the center of the lake there is an elongated island, on the shores there are several small bays.
The salt estuary is a place of growth of rare species of salt marsh and seaside flora. Many species of waterfowl nest here, including rare ones: stilt-billed stilt, steppe grebe, gray crane, stilt.
At the bottom of the lake lies mud that has healing properties. A mud reservoir has been erected on the shore, which ensures the preservation of the therapeutic properties of the mud for a long time.
The "Salt Estuary" resort is functioning.
Novotroitske
The Cathedral of the Three Thrones of the Saviour's Not-Made Image is the main Orthodox church of the city of Pavlohrad.
Founded in 1892 on the initiative and at the expense of the honorary citizen of Pavlohrad Yakiv Holubytskyi. At the beginning of the 20th century, there was a library at the cathedral. In Soviet times, this temple was the only one that was not destroyed, but it was badly damaged during the Second World War. In 1960, the Saviour's Cathedral was finally closed and converted into a gymnasium.
Returned to the church in 1991, a complete restoration was carried out.

Sholokhovskyi (Tokivskyi) cascade waterfall is also known as "Chervone Kaminnya".
The length is about 14 meters. The cascade of waterfalls originates from the river. Kamianka, the right tributary of Bazavluk. Granite "baths" are located in the continuation of the waterfall.
In connection with the beginning of the development of the Tokiv granite deposit, the waters of the Sholokhovskyi waterfall became polluted. Previously, rare flowers included in the Red Book, as well as medicinal plants, grew here.
This is one of the most beautiful places in Dnipropetrovsk region.

The quarry of the Southern Mining and Processing Plant is the main attraction of industrial tourism in Kryvyi Rih.
Southern Mining and Processing Plant is one of the main producers of iron ore raw materials in Ukraine. The Southern Mining and Processing Plant quarry is one of the largest in the world. Its depth is 370 meters, length - 3000 meters, width - 2500 meters, the number of horizons - 25, the total length of highways in the quarry - 37 kilometers.

The Historical and Local Lore Museum of the village of Spaske in the Dnipropetrovsk region was founded in 1978 by a local historian teacher, Opanas Matviyenko. The museum is located in the premises of the old school.
The museum's collections include 1,500 exhibits. The exposition in five halls tells about the history of Spaske from its foundation in 1650 to the present day. Separate expositions are devoted to the Holodomor and the events of the Second World War.

Technical Museum "Time Machines" in Dnipro presents the private collection of rare cars of the Dnipro collector Mykhaylo Prudnikov.
It is located in an abandoned workshop of thermoplastic machines near the center of Dnipro. The hall recreates the atmosphere of a city street in the 1950s and 1960s.
In the museum garage there are about 25 cars, mostly of Soviet production, with a slight bias towards sports. "Zaporozhets", "Muscovit", "Zhigul", "Volga", "Peremoga", "Chaika" of various modifications and years of production, as well as SUVs, trucks and buses are presented.
There is a cafe decorated in retro style at the museum of retro cars.

The Ternivka branch of the Kryvyi Rih City Museum of History and Local Lore was founded in 1970 as a school museum in the village of Veseli Terny, which is now part of the city of Kryvyi Rih.
Since 1981, the museum has a separate two-story building. Today the exposition presents archeological finds from the mounds of Kryvyi Rih, objects of the Cossack era, materials about the "Iron Fever" in Kryvyi Rih at the end of the XIX century and others.
There are constant expositions about the nature and ethnography of the region.

The Three Saints Church is one of the oldest churches of the Dnipro.
The blue dome of its belfry with golden stars symbolizing the sky and the central golden dome are today lost among the high-rise buildings of the urban development of the Amur-Nizhnyodniprovsky district on the left bank of the Dnipro. At the beginning of the 20th century, it was a large settlement at a wagon repair plant. In 1900, they began to build a church on the land belonging to the enterprise. In 1902, the church was solemnly consecrated in honor of three saints: Basil the Great, Gregory the Theologian, and John Chrysostom.
The author of the project of the Three Saints Church is unknown. In plan, the temple has the shape of a regular cross. It is crowned by a dome and a traditional cross acquired at that time.

The Transfiguration Cathedral in Nikopol was built at the end of the 19th century as a home temple for brick factory workers.
In 1937, the Transfiguration Cathedral was closed by the Soviet authorities, during the years of German-fascist occupation, it resumed work for a short time, and in 1960 it was transformed into a planetarium. The last owner of the building was a local radio station. The decor and paintings were completely destroyed, and antennas were installed instead of crosses.
From 1991 to 1993, the process of returning the temple to the Orthodox community continued. Currently, the Transfiguration Cathedral has been restored.

The Museum of Ukrainian Painting in Dnipro presents the Ekaterynoslav-Dnipro school of painting of the 20th century, near the origins of which were artists Mykhaylo Panin, Mykola Pohrebnyak, Oleksandr Kuko.
The museum was opened in 2013 in a modern building next to the Trinity Cathedral.
The main exhibition, which includes more than 200 works, is dedicated to Dnipro artists of the 20th century.
Albums, exhibition booklets from the 1960s and 1970s, personal belongings of artists, slides with photos from family archives are also presented.

The Vasylkivka Museum of Local Lore was founded in 1973. Located in a separate building in the center of Vasylkivka.
The museum collection consists of 2,600 museum objects that tell about the history, ethnography and nature of this region. Among them are flint tools of primitive man, things from the times of Zaporozhzhian Sich, an ethnographic collection, typical objects of the era of industrialization. Exhibitions of works of folk artists are held regularly.
In front of the entrance to the museum is a collection of Polovtsian stone sculptures.
